The fully automated rice processing plant of the "Abzal and K" partnership has been put into operation. This is one of the major projects in the development of the region's processing industry. 1 billion tenge has been invested in the modern enterprise, production capacity has increased by 2.5 times, and the volume of waste has decreased to 3-4 percent. The plant is capable of processing 12 tons of rice per hour.
The company sows about 3 thousand hectares of rice in the Syrdarya district, processes the produced goods at its own enterprise, and releases them to the market in the form of polished rice and finished products.
The production process is fully digitalized, and all technological stages are managed by an automated system. Product quality is monitored online. In addition, a solar power plant has been launched, and environmentally efficient "green" technology has been implemented.
Today, 50 percent of the enterprise's products are directed to the domestic market, while the remaining 50 percent are exported to CIS countries, as well as to Mongolia and Iraq. This allows for deep processing of rice, increasing the competitiveness of domestic products and enhancing export potential.
Overall, this year in the Kyzylorda region, agricultural crops were sown on 193.7 thousand hectares. In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, rice fields were reduced by 10.9 thousand hectares compared to last year, amounting to 70.1 thousand hectares this year. Currently, 2.9 thousand hectares of crops are in the flowering phase, 14.3 thousand hectares are in the milk ripeness phase, and 52.8 thousand hectares have entered the wax ripeness phase, with water supply stopped on 65.2 thousand hectares or 93 percent of the areas.
Rice harvesting is gaining momentum in the region. Kyzylorda is considered the main center of rice production in the republic. About 90 percent of the country's rice is produced here, and 35-40 percent is directed for export.
