At a meeting chaired by the regional akim Murat Ergeshbayev, issues of crime prevention, maintaining public order, and ensuring citizen safety were discussed. It was attended by the heads of all law enforcement agencies, with a report delivered by the head of the police department, Serik Ergeshov.
One of the important initiatives of the Head of State on the path to building a Just Kazakhstan is the principle of «Law and Order». This is the foundation of societal development, security, and people's freedom.
Maintaining public order and combating crime is the primary task of law enforcement agencies. Systematic work is being carried out in this direction. Over the past four years, significant funds have been allocated from the local budget for the current expenses of police agencies, modernization of the material and technical base, and digitalization.

In addition, police agencies must promptly respond to feedback from the population, citizens' appeals, and problems. It is necessary to timely disseminate information about incidents, registered crimes, and offenses, and respond without delay to emerging questions.
Submission to the law, observance of order is the main principle of our sustainable development. Systematic work to create a safe society in which crime and disorder are unacceptable will continue.

Currently, 616 video cameras and 54 speed meters have been installed in all districts, and operational control centers have been launched.
Priority is given to the widespread application of modern technologies in crime prevention and ensuring citizen safety. In particular, the prompt detection and prevention of offenses using artificial intelligence capabilities is being improved.
For these purposes, 1,400 video cameras, 20 intelligent intersections, and 58 stationary speed meters will be installed in 2025-2026. Also, 25 special «Sunkar» complexes for traffic control have been put into operation.
