Digitalization of Healthcare in Akmola Region: Results of the «Online Queue»Module and AI Technologies Implementation

The Department of Informatization and Archives of the Akmola Region, together with Damu Information Technology Center LLP, have summarized the interim results of implementing modern digital services in the region's medical organizations. The main achievement has been the introduction of the «Online Queue» module within the Damumed system, which has helped ease the workload on reception desks and reduce patient waiting times without requiring additional equipment costs.

  2. Viamedis Kosshy LLP (Kosshy) - 926 appointments

Development of the Primary Care Service and Artificial Intelligence:

  1. Smart Technologies: Approximately 14,000 medical professionals in the region daily use the Damumed mobile app to serve around 57,000 home-visiting patients, issuing electronic sick leave certificates and medical notes.
  2. «Alima 1.0» AI Assistant: An intelligent physician assistant is being implemented to help monitor compliance with medical care standards in real time.
  3. Future Plans («Alima 2.0»): Launching the automated creation of a digital patient profile, integrating a database of clinical protocols, and establishing a direct communication channel between patients and their district physicians.

The Department of Informatization and Archives of the Akmola Region, in cooperation with the DamuMed Medical Information System, continues its work on scaling advanced digital solutions across all medical institutions in the region to enhance the accessibility and quality of medical care.
