Developing the education system is an investment in the country's future

The regional August pedagogical conference "Norms and Values of the New People's Constitution: Human Capital Development – a Strategic Foundation of the Education System" was held at the "Center of Arts".
The representative gathering was attended by the akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Enlightenment Zhamilya Esanova, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education Ruslan Emelbayev, Chairman of the regional maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov, representatives of the intelligentsia, veterans of the education sector, and teachers.
At the August conference, achievements and important initiatives in the region's education sector were comprehensively discussed.
"On the eve of the new academic year, it is very important to determine the direction of further development. At the republican August conference of educators, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich noted: 'Educating responsible and honest citizens who will become the pillar of a Just, Strong, Safe, and Clean Kazakhstan is our common task.' Among the priorities, five main directions have been identified: eliminating personnel shortages and improving teacher qualifications, reducing the gap in education quality between regions, introducing artificial intelligence into the secondary education system, protecting children, and paying attention to their upbringing.
The President, in his speech, particularly noted that graduates of schools in the Kyzylorda region achieved high results in the Unified National Testing. Our graduates have been ranked first in the republic for the third consecutive year. I believe this is, first and foremost, the result of the hard work of teachers and state support.
967 graduates of the region became holders of the "Altyn Belgi" badge, and 1124 graduates received the "Uzdik Attestat". According to the results of monitoring student achievements, our students took third place in the republic among 4th grades and second place among 9th grades.
This is a good result. But we cannot limit ourselves to these achievements.
The President instructed to develop rural schools and provide specific support to regions with low education quality. In this regard, we need to reduce the gap between urban and rural schools and create conditions for every child to receive a quality education. At the same time, we must strengthen the support system for talented students participating in international and republican olympiads, scientific projects, and intellectual competitions.
As the Head of State said: 'Ustaz – Ulttyn shamshyragy'. On this responsible path, I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, creative pursuits, and professional success. May the new academic year bring everyone new beginnings and bright victories!" – said the head of the region.
The akim of the region also instructed responsible persons to enhance the digital competencies of teachers when introducing artificial intelligence into the education system, and to implement best practices for effective and safe use in the educational process.
"Adal Azamat" , "Zan men tartip", and constitutional values should become the core of educational work. This task cannot be placed solely on the school. Results will only come when the state, school, parents, and society work together.
In addition, the head of the region instructed to improve the qualifications of teachers, strengthen support for young teachers and the mentoring institute, ensure the legitimate interests and safety of children, provide assistance to children from socially vulnerable groups, effectively use the capabilities of supplementary education organizations to organize children's leisure time, and prevent corruption risks.
Reports were presented at the meeting by the head of the regional education department Askarbek Eszhanov, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Enlightenment Zhamilya Esanova, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education Ruslan Emelbayev, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Chairman of the regional public council Nauryzbay Baikadamov, teacher of the "Bilim-Innovation" boarding lyceum No. 10 Nagisha Esbosyn, and head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs for the Kyzylorda region Erlegen Mendaliyev.
At the August meeting held in Astana with the participation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, teacher of school-lyceum No. 201 named after Al-Farabi in Zhalagash district Aigul Shildebayeva was awarded the honorary title "Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan".
And the grant in the amount of 34 million tenge, awarded in the nomination "Best Organization of Secondary Education", was awarded to school-lyceum No. 286 of the education department for Zhanakorgan district.
At today's meeting, teachers working fruitfully in the education sector were awarded the "Qurmet" Order, medals "Eren Enbegi Ushin", "Shapagat", the honorary title "Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan", the Certificate of Honor of the Kyzylorda region, the medal "For Contribution to the Development of the Kyzylorda Region", the Letter of Gratitude from the akim of the region, medals of the Ministry of Enlightenment "Enbek Ardageri", "Ybyrai Altynsarin", the breastplate "Bilim Beru Salasynyn Uzdigi", the honorary diploma "Orta Bılım Beru isinin Uzdigi", the Certificate of Honor, and the Letter of Gratitude from the minister.
